What to know about jugs

Choose a jug by capacity, balance and pour. A full jug should pour cleanly without tipping forward. Check the handle and spout joints, which take the strain of every pour. A cover keeps dust out on a banquet table. Names such as Kingfisher, Mughal or Prince are our design names, so choose by shape and capacity. Keep copper jugs for plain water at room temperature.
