Hastimal Valchand LLP is a Mumbai business established in 1963. We manufacture, source, distribute and sell brass, copper and bronze utensils and related metalware.

This website gives information about our business, products and services. It is for product research and for enquiries from customers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, hospitality businesses and other buyers.

Each sale is governed by the relevant quotation, the agreed commercial terms, the order confirmation and any other documents we issue for it.

Before confirming an order, for a business or for your home, please check the quotation’s products, specifications, quantities, prices, taxes, delivery arrangements and payment terms.

Any price shown on this website is indicative, unless it is expressly marked as final for your transaction.

The actual price depends on these factors:

• The product’s specification, and any customisation
• The quantity and size of the order
• Current metal and material costs
• Applicable taxes
• Packing and transport
• Other commercial terms of the order

A quotation is valid for the period, and on the conditions, stated in it. If a quotation states no period, please check with us that it is still current before you order.

We may correct errors in prices or product descriptions, subject to applicable law and to any binding agreement already made.

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph our products accurately. Some variation is normal, because of manufacturing methods, the nature of the metal, finishing and photography.

• Photographs are illustrative, and the finished product may differ slightly.
• Please confirm colour, finish, dimensions, capacity, weight and other specifications with us when they matter to your purchase.
• Traditional and handmade products show small variations from the way they are made.
• Product names and descriptions identify each item and may not list every technical specification.
• Availability, designs, sizes and specifications may change without notice.

Where exact specifications are important, please confirm them with us before you order.

We deal in brass, copper, bronze and other metalware, as described in each product’s information.

Material composition, alloy, intended use and care differ from product to product. Please confirm the material, composition and suitability of a product for your purpose before ordering.

A product description does not mean that the item suits every cooking method, food-contact use, storage purpose or other specialised use. Please confirm suitability for the specific product and the use you intend.

Each order’s quotation, invoice, order confirmation or other agreed terms govern its payment, delivery and dispatch dates. They also govern freight, cancellation, returns, replacements and refunds.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, nothing on this website guarantees a delivery date, a dispatch schedule or stock.

If you are buying for your home, the same documents apply to you. Before you accept a quotation, check what it says on:

• Cancelling the order, and until when
• Returning a piece, and in what condition
• Replacement or refund for damaged, short or wrong goods
• Who pays freight for a return or a replacement

Ask us about any of these before you accept. Report damage or a wrong piece to returns@hvmumbai.com as soon as you open the parcel, with photographs of the goods and the packing.

Please check your order and its documents on arrival. Tell us promptly about any discrepancy, transit damage or other concern, as the terms of the order and the law require: write to returns@hvmumbai.com for damage, shortages and returns, and to billing@hvmumbai.com for invoices and payments.

Nothing in these terms excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Some products can be made in other sizes, capacities, designs or specifications, where manufacturing allows.

Custom requirements must be discussed with us and confirmed in writing before production or procurement begins.

Minimum quantities, production times, advance payments, cancellation conditions and other requirements are set out during the quotation and order confirmation.

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website belongs to HV or is used with permission. That includes the text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, brand elements and page layouts.

You may use the website for personal reference, product research and genuine business enquiries.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, republish or commercially use its content, photographs, logos or other protected material. The exceptions are prior written permission from the rights holder, or use that the law allows.

Nothing on this website gives you ownership of any intellectual property belonging to HV or anyone else.
