About this product

A jug of kansa, the bell-metal bronze, with a polished, satin-soft finish. It has a pear-shaped body, a lid with a turned knob and a slim loop handle.

It pours water or milk at a traditional meal, alongside a kansa thali and glasses. Kansa is a customary wedding and festival gift, and the lid keeps drinking water covered on the table.

Hand-wash and dry at once, and polish with tamarind or pitambari. Kansa is hard but brittle, so it can crack if dropped.
