About this product

A langdi is a wide, shallow cooking pot with a flat base and a low wall. HV222 is the kalai polish version: tinned with kalai inside and polished outside.

With the tin lining in place, you can cook everyday dishes in brass, sour ones included. The polished outside lets it go from stove to table, at home or in a restaurant.

Tin melts at about 232 °C, so never heat it empty. Use a wooden spoon, and re-tin when brass shows through.
