About this product

A langdi is a wide cooking pot with a flat base and a low wall, shallower than a tope. HV221 is our brass langdi.

The broad base gives a large cooking surface for everyday dishes, at home or in a canteen, hotel or caterer's kitchen.

Brass needs kalai (a tin lining) inside before any cooking; sour and salty food react with the bare metal. Wash and dry it after use, and polish the outside with tamarind or lemon.
