About this product

In HV218 the inside is tinned with kalai, so it shows silver, and the hammered brass outside is polished bright. It comes in sizes 8-12 (HV218) and 13+ (HV219).

The tin lining lets you cook dal, sambar, kadhi and rice in brass. It suits a home kitchen, a restaurant or a gift.

Never heat it empty: tin melts at about 232 °C. Use a wooden spoon, and re-tin when brass shows through.
