About this product

HV138 is the copper version of our Ring Deg; the brass one is HV137.

Copper conducts heat about three to four times better than brass, which helps a large batch cook evenly. Caterers, biryani kitchens and wedding kitchens use copper degs for dum biryani, haleem and pulao, with the lid sealed with dough for dum.

Copper used for cooking needs kalai (a tin lining) inside. Your quotation confirms whether the piece comes tinned.
