About this product

A handi is a deep, round-bellied pot, and a baby handi is a small one for the table. HV497 is polished brass with a broad etched band of flowers and leaves, a flat lid and a turned knob.

Restaurants serve single portions of curry, dal or rice in it; at home it holds a side dish or a sweet at a festive meal. It also suits wedding and Diwali gifting.

Hand-wash it and dry at once. Keep sour dishes out of bare brass, and polish with tamarind or lemon.

Also called brass serving handi, mini handi, small brass handi with lid.
