A tawa is a round, flat or slightly curved griddle for rotis and parathas. Most tawas today are iron or steel; brass is the traditional alternative. HV180 has a handle.
The handle lets you tilt and move the tawa without tongs as you turn rotis, phulkas, parathas and thepla. For a tawa without a handle, see HV179.
Keep sour food off bare brass. Wash, dry at once, and polish with tamarind or lemon.
Also called brass tawa with handle, pital ka tawa, roti tawa.
