HV273 is a sheet tope: its body is formed from rolled brass sheet.

Use it for milk, rice, dal and gravies on a home stove. Canteens and hotel kitchens use topes in several sizes side by side.

For sour or salty food, brass needs kalai, a tin lining, inside. Never heat a tinned pot empty, and dry it after washing.
