About this product

A degchi is a metal cooking pot, smaller than a deg. HV120 is a sheet degchi: its body is formed from rolled copper sheet.

Use it for biryani, pulao and curries in family quantities, or for a restaurant's smaller batches. The lid can be sealed with dough so the food cooks in its own steam.

Copper needs kalai, a tin lining, inside for cooking. Wash and dry it after use, and clean the outside with tamarind or lemon.
