A kadhai (karahi) is a deep, round-bottomed pan for frying and cooking. HV199 is a sheet kadhai: its body is formed from rolled brass sheet.

Fry puris and pakoras, roast sooji, or cook sabzi and gravies in it, at home or in a restaurant or halwai's kitchen.

Brass needs kalai (a tin lining) inside before any cooking; sour and salty food react with the bare metal. Dry it at once after washing.
