About this product

A patili is a small patila. This is a brass cover made to sit on such a pot.

Use it to cover milk as it heats, to keep dal and sabzi warm, or to steam rice. It also replaces a lost or dented lid on an existing patili. Kitchens buy covers to match the pots they already use.

Wash, dry at once, and polish the outside with tamarind or lemon.
