About this product

A thali is a round metal plate for a full meal, with katoris (small bowls) set on it for dal, vegetables and sweets. HV22 is a plain brass thali in one size, 10.5".

At home it serves daily meals. In pooja it becomes the aarti thali, holding the diya, kumkum, rice and flowers. Families also buy plain thalis in sets for weddings and as gifts.

Serve sour dishes such as kadhi or tamarind chutney in a katori, not on the bare brass. Wash and dry it after use, and polish with tamarind or lemon when the brass darkens.
