About this product

A gangal is a large, round metal vessel for water, with a hemispherical body and handles. In Maharashtra it traditionally held the water for bathing and washing. HV170 is our brass gangal.

It still holds bath water, and stores water in the kitchen or the pooja room. Families buy gangals for weddings and new homes.

Water needs no kalai (tin lining). Empty and dry it after use, and polish with tamarind or lemon.
