About this product

A davara (also dabarah or dabara) is the wide, rimmed bowl in which a filter coffee tumbler sits. Coffee is poured back and forth between the two to cool it and raise a froth. HV188 is our brass davara in its Gl / Mt version. The quotation confirms whether the tumbler comes with it.

It serves filter kaapi in South Indian homes, darshinis and cafés. Brass davara sets are also given as return gifts at weddings and festivals.

Hand-wash and dry at once, and polish with tamarind or lemon.

Also called dabara set, davara tumbler, filter coffee tumbler set, dabarah.
