About this product

A pair of brass tongs, for gripping food without touching it. For the pincer that lifts hot vessels by the rim, see the pakkad, HV402.

In the kitchen, tongs turn rotis and papads over the flame and lift pieces from hot oil. At a buffet or bar counter they serve salad, sweets and ice. Restaurants, caterers and homes all keep a pair.

Wash, dry at once, and polish with tamarind or lemon when the brass dulls.
