About this product

A pakkad (pakad, 'grip') is the kitchen pincer that holds a hot vessel. This brass pakkad has two long straight arms, a riveted pivot, and looped jaws that close on flat tips.

Grip the rim of a tope, kadhai or handleless tawa and lift it off the flame. Restaurant and catering kitchens use pakkads all day with pots that have no handles, and homes use them the same way.

Wipe clean and dry after use.

Also called sandasi, pakad, brass tongs.
