About this product

A ghee pot is a small lidded pot that holds ghee for the table. This brass one is shaped like a little patili: a hammered, round body, a plain neck, and a lid with a knob and a notch for the spoon. A spoon with a patterned handle comes with it.

Keep it on the dining table to spoon ghee over rice, dal and rotis, or in the pooja room for lighting diyas. It is also bought as a return gift at weddings and festivals.

Wash and dry it thoroughly before refilling, and polish the outside with tamarind or lemon.
