About this product

Shubh vivah means "auspicious wedding". The Shubh Vivah Kalsa Set is our brass kalash set for the wedding ceremony. A kalsa (kalash) is a pot with a wide body and a small mouth.

At a Hindu wedding the kalash is filled with water, crowned with mango leaves and a coconut, and worshipped during the rites. Families buy the set for the ceremony and keep it for pooja at home afterwards.

The quotation lists every piece in the set, with sizes. Rinse and dry the pieces after use, and polish with tamarind or lemon.
