About this product

A kalsi (kalshi) is a small water pitcher with a round body and a narrow neck. HV28 is the nakshi kalsi: nakshi means designs engraved or chased into the metal.

In pooja the kalsi is filled with water, topped with mango leaves and a coconut, and worshipped as the kalash. Families use it at weddings, griha pravesh and festivals, and keep it in the home mandir afterwards. It also makes a wedding gift.

Clean the engraving with tamarind or lemon and a soft brush, then rinse and dry well.
