About this product

HV442 is a copper katora, also called a wati: a small, shallow metal bowl.

Set it on a copper thali for a dry sweet, nuts or a dry sabzi. In the pooja room it holds water, akshata (rice) or flowers. Copper katoras also make a simple gift, alone or with a thali.

For dal, curd, pickle or anything sour or salty, copper needs kalai (tin lining) inside. Copper darkens with use. Clean it with lemon and salt, or tamarind, then dry it well.

Also called copper katori, tambe ki katori, copper wati.
