About this product

A thal is a large, flat brass dish or tray, bigger than a dining thali. The Jalebi Thal is one of our wedding thals, made in two sizes: up to 24 (HV20) and 25+ (HV21).

Large thals carry sweets, fruit and gifts between families at weddings and festivals. The word thali itself has long meant a present of sweets and fruit sent by relatives on a festive day. A thal also holds offerings and prasad at pooja.

If sweets sit directly on the brass, wash and dry the thal soon after. Polish with tamarind or lemon when it darkens.
