About this product

A handi is a deep, round-bellied pot for cooking and serving. HV123, the Hyderabadi, is a serving handi: low, wide and hammered, polished bright, with a lining inside and a rolled rim.

Restaurants send curries, dal and biryani to the table in handis like this. It also suits a home dinner table or a buffet, and makes a good gift.

Wash it by hand and dry at once. Polish the outside with tamarind or lemon, and keep sour dishes off any bare brass.
