About this product

HV385 is a copper lota with a hammered surface, beaten into small facets. It comes in sizes 8 (HV385), 9 (HV386) and 10 (HV459).

Copper lotas are used in pooja, yajna and wedding rites, for pouring water as an offering and as the kalash. At home a copper lota holds plain drinking water.

Use it for water only. Copper darkens with time; clean it with tamarind or lemon.

Also called tambe ka lota, tambya, copper kalash.
