About this product

Chuna is slaked lime, the white paste spread on a betel leaf with katha and supari to make paan. HV46 is a small brass stick named for it. Its use is to take chuna from its box and spread it on the leaf.

Paan is offered to guests at weddings, festivals and poojas, and kept at home in a paandan with separate boxes for chuna, katha and supari. The chuna stick sits with them.

Wipe the stick clean after each use, before the lime dries on it, and keep it dry.
