About this product

A chakla belan is the pair used to roll out roti dough: the chakla is the round board and the belan the rolling pin. This set is brass.

Roll rotis, phulkas, puris, parathas and bhakri on it. Brass is heavy and stays put on the counter, and the pin's weight helps roll the dough evenly. Homes keep a set for daily rotis, and tiffin services for rolling in quantity.

Brush off flour, wash, dry at once, and polish with tamarind or lemon.

Also called brass chakla belan, rolling board and pin, polpat latne.
