About this product

A lidded brass pot for pickle, or achar. Families keep a small one on the table for the day's mango, lime or chilli pickle.

It suits the dining table at home and the pickle service in a restaurant or canteen. Filled with home-made pickle, it is also a gift.

Pickle is sour and salty. Traditionally it goes only into brass lined with kalai (tin), never bare brass. Confirm the lining of HV445 on the quotation. Use a dry spoon, and wash and dry the pot before refilling.
