About this product

HV209 is the copper version of our Parampara lagan; Parampara, 'tradition', is our design name. The brass lagan is HV208.

Copper conducts heat about three to four times better than brass, so a wide copper base heats evenly. Restaurants and caterers use a lagan for dum biryani and slow-cooked curries, and often serve from it. Homes use it for pulao, biryani and gravies.

Copper used for cooking needs kalai (a tin lining) inside. Your quotation confirms whether the piece comes tinned.
