About this product

HV270 is a flat, round copper lid. Short hammered marks radiate from the centre to a shallow rim, giving it a textured face.

Use it to cover a tope, handi or kadhai while food cooks or rests, keeping heat in and dust out. For dum cooking, seal it to the pot with a rope of dough. Sizes are 6-7.5 (HV270) and 8-14 (HV269), chosen by the width of the pot's mouth.

After washing, dry it at once. Tamarind or lemon brings back the copper colour.
