About this product

An all-brass kettle with a hammered body, a domed hammered lid with a knob, a swan-neck spout and a high arched handle. It comes from 500 ml to 3 L, each size under its own code.

At home it carries tea or hot water to the table and looks well on an open shelf. Hotels, cafés and caterers use it for tea service on counters and buffets, and it is a popular gift.

Brass that holds hot drinks should be lined inside with kalai (tin); the quotation confirms the lining. Hand-wash, dry at once, and polish the outside with tamarind or lemon.
