About this product

A kettle with a hammered copper body and a domed, hammered lid. The arched handle, the curved spout and the lid knob are brass, so the piece shows two metal colours. It comes from 500 ml to 5 L, and each size has its own code.

The small sizes suit a tea tray at home or a gift. The larger ones serve tea and hot water at hotel counters, cafés and banquets.

Copper that holds hot drinks should be lined inside with kalai (tin); the quotation confirms the lining. Hand-wash, dry at once, and clean the outside with tamarind or lemon.
