About this product

Kansa is bell metal, a bronze of copper and tin. HV466 is listed as a kadhai, saucepan and frypan; the photo shows a flared, flat-based frying pan with a long handle riveted on, polished pale gold.

Use it for eggs, a quick sabzi, a tadka or a dosa at home, or to cook and serve at the table in a restaurant.

Kansa is traditionally more an eating metal than a cooking one, so cook gently and don't leave sour food standing in it. Hand-wash and dry at once. It does not work on induction.
