About this product
Gol means round, and HV183 is a round-bodied copper deg.
Caterers, biryani kitchens and community kitchens use degs for dum biryani, haleem and rice in quantity; the lid is sealed with dough so the food cooks in its own steam. Families use smaller degs for festive cooking.
Copper needs kalai, a tin lining, inside for cooking. Never heat a tinned deg empty, and re-tin when copper shows through.
