About this product

A brass cup and saucer with nakshi work. Nakshi, from naqsh (design), means a pattern engraved, chased or embossed into the metal.

The decoration makes it a gift piece as much as a cup: for weddings, Diwali, or a guest's tea at home. Cafés and hotels that serve tea in metal use it on trays and at special counters.

Hand-wash with a soft brush so the pattern stays clean, then dry at once. Tamarind or lemon brings back dull brass. Keep sour drinks out of unlined brass.
