About this product

A panpeti is a box for the makings of paan: betel leaf, chuna (lime paste), supari (areca nut) and katha. The name joins paan to peti, a box. Paan boxes usually keep each ingredient in its own compartment. HV's brass panpeti comes in sizes 0, 1 and 2 (HV60, HV61, HV62).

Offering paan to guests after a meal, and at weddings and festivals, is an old form of hospitality. The panpeti serves a family sitting room, a paan counter or a restaurant, and is also a wedding gift.

Clear out leaves and lime after use, and dry the box before closing it.
