About this product
A full-size handmade glass of kansa, the bell-metal bronze. Kansa is harder than copper and rings when struck, and its pale gold surface takes a soft shine.
It is the glass that goes with a kansa thali and katoris at a family meal, and a kansa set is a customary wedding gift in Odisha. Restaurants serving traditional thalis use it too.
Hand-wash and dry at once, and polish with tamarind or pitambari. Kansa is hard but brittle, so it can crack if dropped.
