About this product

HV187 is a chutney stand in brass. It holds small bowls of chutney together, so they pass round the table as one.

Serve coconut and tomato chutney with idli, dosa and vada, or mint and tamarind chutney with samosas, pakoras and chaat. South Indian restaurants, chaat counters and homes use it.

Tamarind and other chutneys are sour and salty: wash the bowls soon after the meal, since bare brass should not hold them for long. Wash by hand and dry at once. Brass dulls with use; tamarind or lemon brings back the shine.
