About this product

HV162 is an oval brass basket with nakshi work. Nakshi, from naqsh (design), is engraved, chased or embossed decoration on the metal.

Fill it with fruit, dry fruit or sweets on the dining table, or with flowers in the pooja room. Decorated baskets make gift hampers for Diwali and weddings, and hotels use them for fruit and display. HV161 is the plain version.

Line it with a napkin for food. Wash by hand and dry at once. Brass dulls with use; tamarind or lemon brings back the shine. A soft brush cleans the nakshi work.

Also called nakshi basket, brass fruit basket, decorative brass basket.
